What's in my Makeup Bag - Autumn Edition.
The prettiest season is finally here. It's time to put away the peach tone blushers and highlighter till Spring and bring out the earth tone products. To be honest, I don't change up my makeup very much from season to season and I wear the same makeup to work everyday, because lets face it it is so much easier that way. However at the weekends I like to take my time with my makeup and use some of my more treasured products. Here's what I have been loving so far...
I have had really oily skin recently and this has been a life saver at helping with that. This primer has such a lovely silky consistency that glides on to my face and helps keep my makeup in place all day. It's also pretty awesome at oil control.
MUA Skin Define Matte Perfect Foundation - Ivory Flush
Now don't be fooled by this foundation, it does not keep me matte in the slightest. If anything I think it gives me a really healthy glow and I've had so many comments in the past about how glowy my skin is when I wear this foundation.
Clinique Stay Matte Sheer Pressed Powder - 101 Invisible
Literally my favourite powder ever. I've recently hit pan on this powder but I'm not ready to give it up yet. I should maybe buy another one as it's probably a bit gross. I love the packaging and it doesn't make your face all cakey.
Kat Von D Signature Brow Precision Pencil - Light Brown
I was kindly sent this brow pencil and I love it. The 'pencil' itself is the twist up sort and it has the smallest tip which is fantastic for giving the effect of 'hairs' when you fill in your brows. It makes them look really natural and not at all 'blocky.'
I love this stuff. I've used gels to set my eyebrows for so long now and I always used the same one. Not anymore, I don't think I can go back to another brand after this. Use it on its own or after filling in your brows. It literally holds them in place all day without making your eyebrows crispy and doesn't flake off.
Sleek 3 Blush Palette - 369 Pink Lemonade
I love this blusher trio. The shades are just beautiful and it is one I wear a lot at the weekends or if I'm going out. They give such a lovely hint of colour on my cheeks. Great pigment as well.
MAC Cosmetics Single Veluxe Pearl Eyeshadow - Woodwinked
This eyeshadow has featured a lot on my Instagram feed as I have become obsessed with it recently. I'll be honest I wasn't a fan of it to start with but now I can't stop wearing it. It is just the most amazing earthy toned eyeshadow and one I don't think I could live without now.
NYX Ultimate Shadow Palette - Warm Neutrals
This palette is just the amazing selection of perfect earthy autumnal shades. I've not used this palette yet as it is new to my collection but I cannot wait to try it out.
Literally my holy grail eyeliner. I don't think I can go back to any other brand now! It's a little on the pricey side in my opinion but so worth the money. I decided on a brown for a change rather than my normal black as I'm starting to think black is too harsh.
Avon Glimmerstick Diamonds Eyeliner - Brown Glow
I love this eyeliner for using under my eye as it is the most gorgeous shimmery bronze shade which is perfect for day or night. It also lasts really well.
MAC Cosmetics Eye Kohl Crayon - Teddy
If you want an eyeliner to make green eyes pop...this is it! You need this eyeliner in your life, trust me.
Maybelline Lash Sensational Mascara - Black
The standard and everyone's favourite - this mascara speaks for itself.
Givenchy Noir Couture Volume Mascara - Black
I was very kindly sent this little sample size of this mascara and I bloody love it. I have long eyelashes but this makes them look insane. People think I have false eyelashes on when I use this, it is that good. I do struggle with separating my lashes with it but if you persevere it is so worth it.
MAC Cosmetics Lustre Lipstick - 515 Patisserie
I was given this lipstick for my birthday from my husband and this has fast over taken all of my other MAC lipsticks. I love the colour and the texture and it is the perfect everyday lipstick. I reach for this one a lot.
Charlotte Tilbury Matte Revolution Lipstick - Pillow Talk
This was the lipstick I wore on my wedding day and let me tell you it did not disappoint. It also did not budge. I would buy this lipstick 100 times over, it is that good. It is the perfect your lips but better lipstick. I flippin' love it.
